After 36 remarkable years of leadership and service at VCBO, principal Jeanne Jackson, FAIA, is transitioning into a new chapter in her career and will assume the role of Principal Emeritus with the firm.
Throughout her career at VCBO, Jeanne has been a passionate advocate for educational architecture, a trusted advisor to clients, and an influential leader within both our firm and the profession. Her work has helped shape not only the projects and communities we serve but also generations of architects and design professionals.
In this next chapter, Jeanne will dedicate more of her time to advancing the profession of architecture at the national level, including through her service as the current Chancellor of the AIA College of Fellows, her involvement with NCARB, and her continued work with other professional and industry organizations.
As Principal Emeritus, Jeanne will remain connected to VCBO and continue to be a valued resource to our firm, sharing the knowledge, perspective, and experience she has developed over more than three decades. She will also continue to champion architecture for education, which has been a defining focus of her career.
As part of this transition, Jeanne will step away from the day-to-day leadership of project teams and the pursuit of new work. VCBO’s leadership and education teams will continue to serve Jeanne’s longstanding clients and relationships, providing continuity and the same commitment to service, collaboration, and design excellence they have come to expect from our firm.
We are deeply grateful for Jeanne’s extraordinary contributions to VCBO and to the clients, colleagues, and communities she has served. We are equally excited to see the impact she will continue to make on the architectural profession nationally.
