Amy Sackley has been working as an interior Designer at VCBO since 2013. Amy graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor of Science in interior design (Go Aggies!). While her primary focus is international temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Amy has also worked on several commercial office remodels and education projects. She believes that the client’s happiness is the most important aspect of her work and strives to ensure that each new building occupant is able to truly enjoy their new space.
Dannon Rampton, MFA, IIDA, NCIDQ
Dannon Rampton joined VCBO in 2016 and brought with him over 15 years of interior design, construction and set design experience. He gets a kick out of creative problem solving, designing custom furniture and finding unique applications for common materials. His aptitude for innovation aids in producing a new look for interior elements as well as overall building aesthetic. Dannon doesn’t care what color you paint your kitchen. He does care, however, about designing spaces that create meaningful experiences for the people living or working in them. Dannon draws inspiration from the natural world and the many places he’s lived, including Chattanooga, Madrid, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Jennifer joined the administrative team in the Interior Design department in October 2017. She enjoys working with a creative, collaborative team in interiors and looks for any opportunity to assist in the design process. She has worked on a variety of projects, but focuses primarily on supporting designers on ecclesiastical interiors. She operates as a point of contact for designers and vendors, administering day-to-day operations within the department and assists with renovation & improvement on existing projects, using her skills in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD.
Jessica Skidmore Richardson
Jessica has been with VCBO Architecture as an Interior Designer since 2013. She graduated from LDS Business College in 2007 and began designing in corporate, healthcare, religious, education, recreation and government work. During her time at VCBO, Jessica has worked on recreation centers, corporate, education and healthcare, however she has been primarily focused on temples for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jessica has taught at the LDS Business College since 2009, instructing Drafting and Historical Furnishings. Jessica enjoys collaborating with her clients and work team. She believes in a cohesive design reflecting the clients vision. She loves the energy that comes with the challenge of a new project.
Kristen has been working with VCBO since 2007, contributing to many different projects, including higher education, healthcare, religious, K–12 and recreation. Kristen has work experience in architectural drawings, AutoCAD, Revit, space planning, FF&E and design research, as well as experience working with high-end fabrics, furniture and finishes. She effectively works with a team of other designers and architects on finish plans to ensure the highest quality of design for our clients.
Lissa Ericson, NCIDQ
Lissa has been in the interior design industry since 2008. She joined VCBO in 2014 as an Interior Designer. Lissa’s passion for design is expressed through her work by incorporating progressive and creative solutions that challenge the current horizons of the industry. Her strong creative and technical skills help bring the client’s vision to life. Lissa’s ability to communicate her designs effectively establishes a valued and trusted relationship with the client. Her ultimate goal on any project is to enhance the health, life safety and welfare of her clients in an aesthetically pleasing environment. Lissa’s most notable projects throughout her career have been Provo Fourth District Courthouse, Provo Power, Intermountain Healthcare Park City Medical Hospital Expansion, Intermountain Healthcare West Valley Clinic and Jacobsen Construction Corporate Headquarters.
Madeleine Helgren, IIDA
Madeleine Helgren is a member of VCBO’s commercial interiors team, serving as an Intern Interior Designer. Her background in Interior Design includes working for a boutique Los Angeles design firm, where she developed a love for eccentric and curated commercial spaces. Madeleine graduated cum laude from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. She strongly believes in the impact Interior Design has on the physical, mental and emotional well-being of an occupant and strives to create spaces that protect the safety and welfare of her clients as well as provide a positive and uplifting experience. Her technical skills include: AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
Nancy McKendrick, NCIDQ, WELL AP
Nancy is a veteran interior designer who began her career in 1989. Her extensive portfolio covers most typologies, including but not limited to: corporate, civic, healthcare and higher education. Her experience covers all aspects of design starting with programming and feasibility to construction administration and project completion. Alongside timeless designs, Nancy is interested in shaping healthy and sustainable environments. Nancy is timely, thorough and obsessively detailed. She is an expert problem solver and enjoys coming up with solutions to the challenges they encounter. Finally, she delights in learning about her client’s culture and figuring out how to portray this in the design. Her goal is to make her clients 200% satisfied.
