Three Mile Creek Elementary

Box Elder School District

Perry, Utah

This school was planned to fulfill twin functions serving the community and the student body.  In order to accommodate this requirement the facility was designed to allow the gymnasium, media center and main lobby to be separated from the classroom areas so the public can hold community functions without interrupting educational activities.

Openness and flexibility are important to the District due to limited student population growth.  The District wanted a facility that could serve the current student load but also accommodate the possibilities of a student enrollment increase in the future, changing methods for teaching, and/or emerging technologies.
