Dan Hagerman, AIA, CSI, CCS, LEED ap

From his teen years, Dan Hagerman knew he wanted to be an architect. He was attracted to the profession simply because he found he didn’t like drab, poorly-planned buildings and the benefits of an aesthetically pleasing, well-designed structure were obvious to him.  Dan has worked in his field for over 30 years, including nearly 20 years as a partner of his own architectural firm in Northern Michigan.  His preference for precision, clarity, and accuracy led him to the Specifications team.  His diverse background in building types and construction serve as an asset in his role as principal specification writer for VCBO.  Dan researches materials and building systems, assists with quality control and management, and provides the written component of construction documents.  As a LEED AP, Dan is involved in bringing sustainable materials into the Specifications.
